Dan Strauss

Dan Strauss is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Dan honed his songwriting craft growing up in Queens, NY where he absorbed a continuous flow of music across genres. Steeped in all of these influences, Dan's songs offer a variety of styles including indie-folk, country, rock and jazz. He has been writing and performing for over twenty-five years and has released six albums, including the critically praised “Circles”. Dan has won over audiences with his melodic storytelling, poignant lyrics, rich vocals and intricate arrangements. He has appeared on NPR, WFUV, WDST Radio Woodstock, and WBKM in Vermont. Dan is also a NYC high school science and music teacher. He continues to write and record at his home studio in Brooklyn and performs frequently.
