Jaguero Biography
Jaguero is a four-piece punk/emo band from Vicenza (Italy), formed in 2021.
With former members of Slander, Regarde, and La Fortuna, they started playing together for fun with the aim to be as loud as possible. The band’s first EP "Worst Weekend Ever" was produced by Maurizio Baggio at La Distilleria in Bassano del Grappa and released in April 2022 via Epidemic Records. This first release received a good response not only during live performances but also from the band's online audience, despite being the band's first release ever.
While planning the first non-Italian shows, they recorded a second EP called "New Love". It was released in late September 2023 and printed via Epidemic Records, together with "Worst Weekend Ever", in a special self-titled LP.
"New Love" was presented in a round of shows between the USA and Europe, starting with participation at Fest 21 in Gainsville, Florida. The overall sound is constantly evolving, pushing the most inner grunge and punk rock side to the surface, with that feel of camaraderie and friendship, such the one you find at lots of small club shows with everyone crowing up front and singing along.
