Whether it’s an inspiring fiddle tune or a commitment to songwriting from the heart, Jess Wedden has embraced these traditions while establishing a few of her own since first embarking on a career as a professional folk and Celtic musician in 2014. In the time she's been in the music industry, Jess Wedden's passion for music has earned national recognition. She is a 2016 and 2018 Canadian Folk Music Awards nominee, and is also a 2018 Canadian Songwriting Competition Semi-finalist. Her vibrant stage presence has captured the hearts of fans at every performance with her top-drawer fiddling, finger-style guitar picking, thoughtful lyrics, effortless smile, and a talent which belies her young age. Jess thoroughly enjoys each opportunity to share her music.
