About this concert
10 days, 10 countries – one unique festival Around 360.000 visitors are expected in Ulm and Neu-Ulm for the International Danube Festival, where artists and guests from all countries along the Danube are getting together for a great festival of encounters. The international cultural program offers an ambitious mixture of various genres: Music from classic to Jazz, Balkan-Beats, world music, folk and pop as well as literature and dance, completed by the mutual exchange in the fields of politics, society and environment. A lively family program inspires young and old. The majority of events is free for everyone to enjoy. The colorful market of the Danube countries offering a broad range of arts and crafts and culinary art, gives everyone the opportunity to experience the Danube Region in its cultural variety.

BBC Radio’s Faye Hatcher said the band is “like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Their musical influences take you on a journey around the world. You can’t help clap very loudly, tap your feet or spontaneously jig along to their music! An absolute must-see!!”

Philip Potempa from Chicago Tribune Media said “The Trouble Notes guide their audiences through an inviting immersive experience balancing a perfect blend of excitement and mesmerizing musical moments that is unmatched and energizing!”

The Trouble Notes are a progressive world folk trio. Known for their explosive energy and worldly melodies, the band was formed in 2013 by violinist Bennet Cerven and has since become renown in the international world folk scene. The band’s core hails from three different continents: American violinist Bennet Cerven, German guitarist Florian Eisenschmidt and Australian drummer Julian Lardis.
