Find us under the big tent on Courthouse Square for Reading and Rocking on Saturday, April 27 from 11am-1pm. Join Joe Cepeda, award-winning illustrator and author, and local children’s musician, Andy Z, for a morning of fun. The event will include games, crafts and the opportunity to win prizes from Friends of the Redwood City Public Library. Joe Cepeda is the illustrator of picture books such as “What a Truly Cool World”, “Nappy Hair”, “Mice and Beans” and “The Swing”, which he wrote as well as illustrated. Mr. Cepeda has illustrated books written by numerous notable authors including Gary Soto, Pam Muñoz Ryan, Monica Brown and Toni Morrison.
