April 19th, 1943, Albert Hoffman, a Swiss chemist ingested 250 micrograms of LSD, a compound derived from the ergot fungus. He soon felt the effects and road his bicycle home where he experienced the first ever LSD trip! What a trip! Thanks for your discovery Hoff!
