About this concert
The original music of 2in2out is characterized by the blending of traditional elements and contemporary jazz as
well as experimentation, which provides space for freeform improvisation and guarantees the uniqueness of
each performance. The band was founded by saxophonist Nela Dusova and guitarist Jan Lacina, whose
compositions are the core of the repertoire. Later they were joined by the double bass player Klara Pudlakova
and Adam Sikora on the drum kit. 2in2out has managed to develop from a student project into one of the most
interesting Czech jazz bands in recent years. In June 2024 the band will release an album on the label Bivak
Records. 2in2out will feature great double bass player Peter Korman in season 2024.

The original music of 2in2out is characterized by the blending of traditional elements and contemporary jazz as well as experimentation, which provides space for freeform improvisation and guarantees the uniqueness of each performance. The band was founded by saxophonist Nela Dusova and guitarist Jan Lacina, whose compositions are the core of the repertoire. In 2018, they were joined by the double bass player Klara Pudlakova. At the end of the year 2021 Adam Sikora joined the band on the drum kit. All four instrumentalists belong to the rising young generation of Czech jazz, but already have their place on the scene and are members of several known Czech projects, such as Event Horizon, Uthando and The Abs.
