About this concert
Calum Campbell will be launching his third studio album, "Rovin'", at Montrose Town Hall on Friday the 3rd of May. Joined by his 8 piece band, this is going to be a night of true folk & Scottish music. Calum will not only be performing songs from his newest album, but also from his previous albums "Walls" and "Fireworks". This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) event. Support from Mad Ferret, The Craic Inn and Calum MacPhail & Sean Cousins.

Contemporary Scottish Folk Duo, Perth, Scotland
The Mad Ferret Band are known on the Scottish music scene for a hard hitting blend of traditional and contemporary folk music. The lively, energetic performances are packed with “blisteringly fast mandolin solos”, “tight vocal harmonies, driving Cajon beats and earth-moving guitar sounds.” Since 2011 they have now taken their lively Scottish Folk Music across the UK & Europe. Whilst playing alongside acts like Dougie MacLean, Skerryvore, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Mànran & Peatbog Faeries. Their music has been heard on national radio including BBC Radio Scotland. The duo has Sandy Stirton on DADGAD Guitar, Cajon, Vocals & Chris Woods on Mandolin, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals.
They are currently back on tour for 2021/22 and new music planned for release early 2022
