The Pasadena Roof Orchestra Putting on the Ritz.
Festival on the Hill 2024 kicks off in spectacular style as we take a trip back to the roaring 1920’s and 30’s with the world-famous Pasadena Roof Orchestra. We're ‘Putting on the Ritz’ with these brilliant, stellar musicians, Founded in 1969 the PRO has toured the world from the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, from Berlin to Hong Kong, via Helsinki Dublin Abu Dhabi, Istanbul all the way to the USA (five times) and now we have them live in our Theatre!
Dress to impress (optional!) why not grab a cabaret table, enjoy a bottle of bubbly, sit back and listen to one of the world’s greatest dance bands. #Stedsfest24 has begun! Tables of 4 available for £120.
Following the concert, the musicians will join guests at the Gala Reception in the Festival Marquee.

A splendid evening's entertainment, as always. Particularly pleased that the set list was predominantly 1920s and my two favourites were played. The musicians all seemed to be really enjoying themselves and the audience was very friendly and appreciative. The church is lovely. The event was well organised and I hope the Chatteris Musical Society goes from strength to strength, as it is a great asset to the local community.

Pasadena Roof Orchestra Biography
This is a great 30s-era Jazz band. Listening to this band would be like listening to Al Bowlly singing with Ray Noble and His Orchestra if only high-definition recording equipment had been around 70+ years ago. I've read somewhere that Her Majesty is not displeased whenever she hears the Pasadena Roof Orchestra.
