About this concert
March 2023, Dust introduced their debut EP, 'et cetera, etc,' a testament to their inventive prowess. Melding Australian post-punk with experimental jazz and electronic elements, Dust curated a hauntingly introspective yet dynamically progressive sound. Their international touring journey commenced in April, playing shows throughout Europe and the UK with fellow Australian band Hockey Dad before leaving a indelible mark showcasing at The Great Escape festival in Brighton and Focus Festival in Wales. Returning home, Dust continued enthralling audiences across Australia with relentless touring before embarking on another impactful journey across Europe and the UK in November, culminating in a standout performance at London's Pitchfork festival. Closing out 2023, Dust solidified their status as an exceptional live act by supporting revered acts Interpol and Bloc Party throughout Australia. 2024 has the band set for even a bigger year than the last with their first milestone in March with an invitation to showcase at SXSW Austin which saw the band play 8 showcases in 6 days and turn heads at every set they played. Having just arrived back in the country the band is putting on a last-minute Sydney show before they jump back into finishing writing their highly anticipated debut album. Set for a night to remember, dust hand picked supports from fellow guitar noise makers Organs & Freezer. BOOTLEGGERS, NEWTOWN SATURDAY 27TH APRIL TIX ON SALE NOW
