Avery Jade Biography

Avery Jade is a little different type of metal. We are calling our style "Mixcore". We blend Metalcore, Hardcore, Post Hardcore, Groovecore with hints of other styles including punk, thrash, doom and so on. The band is from the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. Avery Jade hits you in the face with songs of pain and anguish. Stories from the experiences and thoughts of Brian Becker (Guitar/Vocals) who up until recently has written, played and recorded everything from the 102 EP and the 3 singles, I set my Friends on Fire, Nasty and Let's Start a Comedy Podcast. Shannon Houk (Bass/Vocals) joined him in March of 2023 followed by Eric McDowells (Drums) in October of the same year. And since have released 2 more singles, Livin Like Richard and A Blue Chair On Brentwood Lane. It's about time to release another EP.
In March of 2024 we have added another member to the band. The amazingly talented vocalist Tionna Savage is taking the leads giving Brian and Shannon more focus on the instrumental side of things. They are singing singing, growling, screaming, just not as much. The energy and flow is now stronger than ever.
