In 2020, the pandemic had us all locked down at home so we, The Sidecar Guys, decided to see if we could put a fun, virtual adventure travel event on to keep everyone entertained. The idea was just to tell some fun stories about adventure to remind everyone that there would be a time when the pandemic would end and we could all explore again. The event snowballed and in one year raised £12,500 for charity while entertaining around 40,000 armchair adventurers. But now with the world seemingly returning to normal The Armchair Adventure Festival is returning in person at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park in 2024! As the sun begins to set over the Tamar Estuary at The Armchair Adventure Festival it can mean only one thing, the party is about to get started! With every festival, we aim to get some of the best bands in the South West to join us for a fantastic weekend celebrating adventure travel. If the day time is all about the adventure with loads of activities and amazing speakers, then the evenings are all about the party and next year is going to be our biggest party yet!
