About this concert
Nu Deco celebrates the week-long marathon of electronic dance music that is Miami Music Week through this evening of electronic-inspired orchestral music from Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, LCD Soundsystem, Massive Attack, and more! Venue: The Citadel (8300 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33138) When: March 22, 2024 Times: 7PM and 9:30PM Duration: 60-minute concert Seating: General Admission, standing-room-only About the Venue: The Citadel, located in Miami’s Little River neighborhood, opened in early 2019 as the largest food hall in South Florida. More than just a food hall, the space includes a rooftop bar, a retail and maker space for artists to create, show, and sell their work, the headquarters of a national radio station, and an intimate performance venue. The venue vibe is a mix of black-box theater and club, with an intimacy you can only find in an underground Manhattan comedy venue. Everyone on the ground level is within feet of the ensemble, and the upper-level seating is a lounge for Nu Deco Members and Supporters that allows for free-roaming throughout the concert. Come in early for dinner and drinks, settle in for the concert, visit the maker space or bar at intermission, and hang out after on the rooftop with your Nu Deco family!

Geneva Harrison Biography

Born in California to music-heads. Raised on jazz & vocalists in the South. Went through puberty to find a fascination with classical music, rock & roll and latin/brazilian rhythms. Came of age in grunge and the tropics. And emerged as an adult into a soulful history and wild coalescence of music. It started with dance & piano, later expanded upon by singing. And then all hell broke loose at the age of 12 with percussion and drumming. *BM: Instrumental Performance from University of Miami, class of '07 *Some of the best teachers ever: David Krosner, Tom Sherwood, Ney Rosauro, Shannon Wood, Richie Bravo, Ignacio "Nacho" Nunez, all of my musician friends past & present mallets.percussion.drums
