About this concert
Cliff Hillis and Dennis Shocket have been singing, writing songs and performing together for decades, most notably in the Baltimore band Starbelly. Summer 2024 will see the release of an EP’s worth of Beatle-esque hook and harmony-laden power pop songs from the duo entitled “Pop, Girls, etc.” Come join us at Troubles End Brewing's songwriter night as we celebrate the advance release of the single "For Everly".

Cliff Hillis Biography
Cliff Hillis is an award winning singer/songwriter based in the Philadelphia area whose music evokes the sunny pop of the 70’s and has garnered national radio airplay. Hillis has co-written with critically acclaimed songwriters such as Rhett Miller, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Kelley Ryan and Dan Bern.
When he’s not recording and producing albums for himself and others in his studio, Hillis also tours with various bands including Patty Smyth as well as The Orchestra (featuring former E.L.O. members).
