This tribute was formed in 2022 by veteran musicians who saw the need for an RHCP tribute band in Chicago. They bring a genuine love for the Chili Peppers' funk rock sound and capture that spirit in their high energy performances. D'fferent Strokes captures the garage-punk spirit of The Strokes catalog of simple, clean yet dirty when needed guitar tones and danceable anthems that remind audiences that rock music is fun first.
