Resurge is a Portuguese death metal band founded by former members of Underneath.
Following the disbandment of Underneath in 2013, the members decided to embark on a new
project. Their camaraderie and desire to pursue their shared passion for Old School Death
Metal mixed with individual inspirations from each member gave rise to Resurge.
"Ruthless Intent To Obliterate," Resurge's debut single, was positively welcomed when it was
released in December 2020. They released "Breeding In Vain," an EP, in December 2021 via
Miasma Records and Vomit Your Shirt. Both fans and critics were pleased with the release of
their first physical work. Resurge has performed at all of the major extreme metal events across
the nation, bringing more people to their music.
Resurge's debut full-length album, "Resurge From Underneath," will be released in March 2024
by Vomit Your Shirt and Miasma Records.
