Space Shot

Space Shot is an indie rock group from Central Massachusetts. Two lifelong friends, Jack Consolo (vocals/bass) and James Walton (guitar), wanted to create a band that struck a balance between classic rock and a more alternative/indie sound. They spent their first few years in Burlington, Vermont throwing house parties for the college-town area. In late 2022, they reconnected with high school bandmate Joey Canney (drums) to bring their first album into reality.

The band’s lead single “Oregano” released the following summer. The song is about starting a new chapter in life in the face of the unknown. Oregano showcases Space Shot’s active bass lines, unique drum fills, and catchy guitar hooks that became emblematic of the band’s style.

Space Shot’s debut album, “Be With You In A Moment” released on October 20th, 2023. Tracing back to 2016, the album reflects upon Jack and James’s experiences with their feelings of isolation and wanting to be seen. Along with the varying genres between songs, the album carries an offbeat energy that has become a signature flair for the band.

They plan to continue to do shows in the New England area to perform their new album as well as begin production on their next project.
