Boise, ID rapper “Poontz” formally known as “OG” Born in Penjamo GTO mexico. I was born in Mexico and immigrated to the US when I was 3 years old on my mothers back. Grew up in and around gang life so I quickly started to see LIFE from a different point of view and started to write about it. Music was my release!!! I bring a 90’s west coast influence in my beats and a little bit of east coast in my flow some people say I sound like Mack 10, SPM or Big Pun, they say I got the Cadence/Flow of Meek Mill and the love, pain and heart like Memphis Bleek. My latest releases include “Might Just Win” by TNYG and “Interlude” feat Chame. My latest EP “Great & Grateful” can be found on all platforms and includes my favorites such as “Dreams” and “Never Stoppin”. I am currently working on my 2nd EP “LEGENDARY” set to release July 22nd working closely with Kras @ Wave Media and Mac Dylan @ CTRL Studios influenced by years of hard work, sacrifice and perseverance.
