The Doodads Biography
The Doodads showcase an international mix of musicians, including Andy Guthrie and Matt Black on guitar, Michael Dravigny on keys, Kevin Dolgin on bass, Rory Quinn on drums, and the horn section of Mark Heim (trumpet) and Rob Davis (tenor sax), assisted by sound engineer/road manager Andrés Sequera. With a wide repertoire of covers and a few catchy original songs, a funky groove that will get you moving, strong vocal harmonies reminiscent of your favorite arena rock bands, and the ability to put on performances ranging from unplugged acoustic jams to full-on rock’n’roll shows, The Doodads speak the languages of music and fun and turn any gathering into a party to remember!
The Doodads have had the good fortune to perform in front of the Eiffel Tower, in Times Square in New York, for the United States Marine Ball in Paris, at the international headquarters of UNESCO, and at venues including Les Cariatides, La Javelle, Les Agapes, La Dame de Canton, the Embassies of the United States, Australia and Great Britain, and at numerous private, corporate and charitable functions in Paris.
