About this concert
Live at the newly launched Camden Club in London, join us for an unforgettable live performance and Q&A with Iranian born, UK based artist Sepp Osley to talk about the role of music in Iran's Woman Life Freedom Revolution and the power of song to affect change. The talk will highlight the persecution of musicians like rapper Toomaj Salehi and singer Shervin Hajipour, amongst other topics. The discussion will be followed by an explosive live and intimate acoustic performance from Sepp Osley and his band playing song's from his recently released debut EP "Love And Revolution", the new single "Sing" and more. Profits from the night will be donated to Elham Modaressi, who is a victim of the Islamic Republic regime's brutal crackdown on protestors in Iran. She was imprisoned and so severely tortured that she developed cerrhosis of the liver and upon being released on bail, was able to escape to Turkiye to get treatment and a liver transplant. We will be donating the funds to her mounting and significant medical bills and to aid her recovery.

Sepp Osley Biography

Iranian born/British based singer/songwriter Sepp Osley has just released his debut EP "Love And Revolution" which came out in October 2023, accompanied by 2 near sold out launch concerts in London and Toronto. He has collaborated with Nick Van Eede of 80's giants Cutting Crew and pioneering Russian singer Boris Grebenshikov (Stevie Nicks, Dave Stewart) to record his track "Warmaker", and released his single "Dear John" with the legendary Peter Frampton, and celebrated singer Mollie Marriott as a tribute to the great man of Peace John Lennon.

Having escaped war torn Iran with his family as a young child in the 80’s, and growing up in the West, the London based singer's music is an infused tapestry of his upbringing. Drawing on western pop culture and the synth pop sounds of the likes of Depeche Mode and Tears For Fears, to the teachings of his heroes like John Lennon & Bob Marley, he adds his own enchanting melodies and rhythms of his ancient homeland to create a sound unlike most.

Combine this with the hugely poignant words and storytelling of his life experiences and
something truly magical yet digestable as a listener takes hold. In a way, his cultural diversity is matched by his songwriting to be familiar to listeners around the world, despite cultural differences. There’s a connection on some level there for everyone yet in the end it comes down to just one thing, great songs that tell enchanting and heartfelt tales of love and hope in a dark lit world.
