About this concert

As part of their south west summer tour and celebration of their debut Single Release Gloomy Room (April 2024) Leonian Dream will be performing at the lovely independent record store Vinyl Van in Dorchester. They fell in love with the venue when playing there for the first time in 2021. Come and enjoy an evening full of Indie -Rock / Alternative - Rock for fans of Wolf Alice, Annie Hamilton, PJ Harvey and Wet Leg.

Leonian Dream Biography

An Indie-Rock band from the South West of England, 'Leonian Dream' are comprised of Swiss Singer-Songwriter Leonie Prater and Black Country born guitarist Thomas Rogers. Having gigged in and around the Devon & Dorset area for the past three years honing their sound and craft, the band released their debut single and future EP title track 'Gloomy Room' in April; a confident blend of the best 90's Alt-Rock with a nod to current Indie-Rock legends such as Wolf Alice and Wet Leg.

Between them, Leonian Dream take influence from 90s Grunge, European Folk and Australian Indie Pop/Rock to form a new dynamic sound. With the help of other talented musicians around them, they have notably played the likes of Jurassic Fields Festival in Bridport and Dart Music Festival in Dartmouth as well as legendary venue The Fleece, Bristol.

Leonian Dream completed their first summer tour with additional band members Ben Webster (Keys / Synth), Bran Pick (Bass) and Toby Irlam (Drums)
