Pleia

Pleia is a concept created by Nazareth Calmen in early 2016 with the single "Enolas" and subsequently developed between 2018-2022 with Henry Luengo (synthesizer, vocals), Carlos Delmoral (drums) and Enrique Pérez (bass). The project finds inspiration in ancient stories of being and space, as well as ancient tales of our heritage. Bringing together rock, metal and jazz influences.

Pleia has performed at several underground events during 2022, adding an international appearance at the opening act of ANIMALS AS LEADERS (USA). In 2023, the goals of this project begin with the opening show of TESSERACT (UK), appearing for the second time at an international event and a third time accompanying the legendary band CYNIC in their first time in Latin America in the company of Beyond Creation, another great international band added to this lineup.

In the final months of 2023, Pleia enters the studio to produce their first studio material called BETORI. They are signed under the @throughyourneckrecords label in Spain to launch this album made up of 7 songs full of irreverent energy, prog music. With different aspects, the single TAU II is the prelude to this promising EP with which they hope to cross borders in 2024, exploring new national and international horizons.
