Charlie Parr

Utterly brilliant show - loved the drummer/percussionist/washboard player too. - Been following Charlie since my old band supported him 20 or so years ago [in London] and he was then, and remains so today, the most unique songster in the traditional sense of the word. Keeping the folk/country blues spirit very much alive but injected with observations and affiliations of the contemporary [fundamental] human condition. Deeply moving material and with civic mindedness at its core. Super skillfull and a true poet. He has become part of our family and indeed the soundtrack to much of our adult lives.
