Rachel Ana Dobken Biography
Rachel Ana Dobken (drums, guitar, vocals, piano, producer) is a powerhouse musician with a knack for blending heavy indie-rock & soul. Described as “My Morning Jacket meets Amy Winehouse,” she’s been featured at The New York Times, Relix, American Songwriter, Guitar Girl, The Aquarian Weekly & more. She worked closely with iconic music photographer Danny Clinch as music director of his Transparent Gallery in Asbury Park, N.J., where she is from. She’s sat in with Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon, Blind Melon, Incubus’ Ben Kenney, G. Love, Robert Randolph, Rayland Baxter, Nicole Atkins, Tash Neal and many more.

Dobken’s forthcoming album Acceptance (out March 8, 2024) was produced by Paul Ritchie of The Parlor Mob and Erik Romero of The Front Bottoms, in conjunction with Dobken. The record features members of Blind Melon, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, The Parlor Mob and more. Multi-instrumentalist Dobken plays drums, guitar, piano and sings on the new record.
