Free Show 🤯🎶😁 Johnny Lit is an internationally performing band leader, lead singer, and guitar player of Jerry Duty, the Jerry Garcia tribute band. With a lifelong passion for music, Johnny started playing guitar at the age of 9, and his love for the art has only grown stronger over the years. His guitar playing encompasses a wide range of genres, including rock, jam band, blues, country, and even bluegrass influences. What sets Johnny apart is his unique approach to music and performing, which pays homage to the great improvisers who came before him. He believes in the power of collective creation, where both the audience and performers come together to shape the music in an organic, living, and breathing way. Each song and show becomes a truly unique experience, as Johnny believes in the spontaneous evolution of music in the present moment. Throughout his career, Johnny has had the privilege of performing with members of various well-known bands, including Rusted Root, The Zen Tricksters, John Kadlecik Band, Cabinet, Bob Weir's Ratdog, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Breaking Benjamin and many more. His collaborations have enriched his musical journey and expanded his artistic horizons. As a dedicated career musician, Johnny can be found most of the time performing across the Northeastern United States with Jerry Duty. Additionally, he leads other bands and occasionally showcases his talent through soulful solo acoustic performances. In his acoustic performances, Johnny showcases a versatile repertoire that spans a wide range of musical genres and iconic artists. His setlist includes beloved classics from the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Phish, Trey Anastasio Band, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Allman Brothers, The Black Crowes, as well as bluegrass standards and many more. With a deep appreciation for timeless music, Johnny brings his unique interpretation and heartfelt delivery to each song, creating an intimate and engaging experience for his audience. Johnny’s unwavering dedication to music and his commitment to the art of improvisation have solidified his position as a respected musician in the scene.
