Alkaline band Biography
Alkaline is the electric culmination of four wildly different adolescents into an alternative rock band. Hailing from all corners of the world, each with their own distinctive musical background, the disparate quartet seeks to break the status quo and turn chaos into art with their engaging and addictive indie performances.
Based in The Netherlands, the band is fronted by vocalist/guitarist Hemran Sabity (he/him), who formed Alkaline in 2022 with Younes Sekkat (he/him) on drums and Luc Rondini (he/him) on bass. The band solidified its current line-up with the addition of Jasmine Choi (they/them) on lead guitar in November 2023.
2023 saw the release of debut EP 'Hell,' featuring songs ranging from explosive and danceable to 90s-inspired slow rock and shoegaze. They also took on their first international adventure, performing in The Botanique (Brussels) in the international finals of Imagine.
