About this concert
Born in London to Pakistani/Irish parents Niomí writes delicately crafted love songs interwoven with textural piano and tender vocals.
Her debut EPs, 'Susurrus' and 'Pain Relief' reflected on heartbreak, mental health, loss, and finding a light at the end of the tunnel.
She received beautiful support from websites like COLORS, Rolling Stone India, DLSO, WORDPLAY Magazine, and more, but also from playlists by Spotify UK/IE, Pakistan, H&M or Mahogany.
Having recently gained support from the Help Musicians x Mobo Awards Fund she just released her single 'Treading Water'.

NIOMÍ Biography
With roots in Mourne Northern Ireland, Niomí is a vocalist, songwriter and producer based in South East London. Her background as a piano teacher, sees her transform the piano electronically, creating a sound world as nostalgic as her bruised love songs.
Previously, she has written and performed as half of experimental RnB duo, Tidelines, and gained support from the PRSF Lynsey de Paul Prize for female songwriters. Niomí releases on ‘Galang’, a label and collective focused on female musicians of colour.
Set to release her self-produced, debut EP in 2018, ’Sugar’ is a song about reclaiming power after the breakdown of relationship. It's a bitter reminder to an ex-lover that they've lost out on something immeasurable and there's no second chance.
Dummy “ Irresistible soft-as-your-favourite-pillow vocals that have us hanging on every word"
Clash “ A vocal that seems stuck - weightless, liminal - in perpetual cold”
Bit Candy “Absolutely majestic. Like Lana Del-Rey on analgesics ”
