About this concert
The rave-reviewed upbeat musical-journey has a brand new “DOO”! The 5 engaging, charismatic and dashing Broadway stars with their all-star band have created an exciting new show that features fresh renditions of classic doo wop hits (remember “16 Candles” and “In the Still of the Night”) as well as “doowopified” versions of contemporary hits like Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” and Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places”. Of course, they’ll keep huge fan favorites in the new show – memorable numbers like “Remember Then” and “That’s My Desire”. It’s a fantastic evening of the greatest music in American pop and rock history…from the classic sound of five guys singing harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the charts today.

If you’ve never seen this group perform, you are missing out on an amazing show and a truly fun
evening. John Michael, Russell, who was off this night, along with Dominic in for Russell have incredible falsetto voices. I thought only angels could sing that high! Charl when he’s singing Smokey Robinson songs makes all the ladies swoon. Dominic’s voice is as smooth as Philly Cream Cheese…not that fake stuff, and Dwayne, omg this guy is hysterical. I swear he’s made of rubber. He puts Gumby to shame. His tones are so low you can feel them in your stomach. They get the audience involved and there wasn’t one person not having a great time. In addition to all their talent, these gentlemen are all easy on the eyes! That John Michael has some sexy eyes! I bought a CD and chatted briefly with each member as they signed. They were just as friendly and nice as can be. These guys and their show have it all. Become a stalker like me and see them every time they are in your area. You will not be disappointed. Can’t wait for November to see them again! ♥️

The Doo Wop Project begins at the beginning: tracing the evolution of Doo Wop from the classic sound of five guys singing harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the radio today. In their epic shows The Doo Wop Project takes audiences on a journey featuring foundational tunes from the Crests, Belmonts and Flamingos through the vocal artistry of Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, and The Four Seasons all the way to DooWopified versions of modern hits from Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, and Sam Smith.
