Diamond Weapon Biography

Diamond Weapon have accepted the fact that they're considered “weird.”

The post-hardcore quartet from Toronto, ON, Canada embraces their idiosyncrasies, delivering a sound that's both eclectic and raw. The band was formed in late 2016 and consists of Louis Tentsos on vocals and guitar, Stephen MacLean on guitar and vocals, Marco Vani on bass, and Jason Bradfield on drums.

Despite their self-deprecating nature, their live show is nothing short of chaos, with energy that's both captivating and infectious. It's no surprise that they've shared the stage with heavy hitters such as Eyes Set to Kill and Danko Jones, as well as playing at Canadian Music Week, NXNE and Gussapolooza music festivals. Their music is characterized by its raw energy and emotional intensity, with Tentsos and MacLean's vocals weaving together in a dynamic interplay over the driving rhythm section of Vani and Bradfield. While they may not take themselves too seriously, Diamond Weapon's music is a force to be reckoned with.

Diamond Weapon has two releases to their name, the full-length album "All I Wanted Was the Other Side" (2018) and the EP "Eyes" (2021). Now, the band’s new album “All Heart, No Sleeve” is slated for release on November 10th, 2023 via City Set on a Hill Records. Self-produced by the band themselves, and mastered by Scott Middleton (ex-Cancer Bats), it was important for the band to ensure that “every sonic decision made on the production of this record was made by someone who had a hand in writing the music.”
