Nach dem sensationellen Erfolg im Vorjahr wird der Domplatz St. Pölten wieder zum Publikumsmagneten! Unter der Leitung von Garrett Keast begeistert das Tonkünstler-Orchester mit Melodien aus den spektakulärsten Musiktheaterwerken von Leonard Bernstein, aus «On the Town», «Candide» und natürlich aus der «West Side Story». Im zweiten Teil des Abends empfangen die Tonkünstler zwei hinreißende Sängerpersönlichkeiten: China Moses, auch hierzulande längst ein großer Name, präsentiert ihre unvergleichliche Mischung aus der amerikanischen Black Music, inspiriert von Soul, Rhythm and Blues und Jazz. Mit seiner sehr individuellen Variante aus Funk und Soul befeuert anschließend der aus Ghana stammende britische Singer-Songwriter Myles Sanko die Stimmung – ein Abend voller exzellenter Musik und von großer Empfindungstiefe!

China Moses is joyous. She loves nothing better than to delve into themes - to explore, expand and explode them.
After traversing the Great American Songbook, she now turns her attention to carving out her own terrain.
The resulting eleven songs are destined to become new standards.
Like an archer, Moses draws from the quiver of her musical forbears, sending arrows true and further than those who preceded her.
Unconventional and unfettered, Moses challenges conventions, breaking free of boundaries and constraints. Her mezzo voice glides silkily on sumptuous ballads, filled with passionate syncopation - unadorned, yet immodest.
