About this concert
The Heard will entertain at the 2024 Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on Sunday, March 24 from 12:30 to 1:15 PM. Come enjoy this great weekend festival that includes unique art and craft exhibitors, multiple food courts, cultural performances, live music, and a children’s play area. The festival opens at 10 AM Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24. $8 per car parking fee then free entry into the festival.

Bill Long Biography
Mom made me take piano in the 5th grade. Then took up electric bass at 14 in a R&R band. Took up acoustic guitar, played through college & just with myself until about 2000. Fell in with the players in Dacula & the jams at Phil Tanner’s & Tom Gaston’s. Formed band with Tom Gaston & played bass with The Wild Heard Band. Trying mandolin since 2004. Best on bass. Love to play live. Currently playing with The Heard, The Sun Room Gang, Fiddlin' Around, Group 2, and as a solo.
