GRAM ANTLER Reformed choirboy and post-alt-country, Jason Johnson presents Gram Antler as an anachronism, a man unstuck in time, so it goes. The songs of Poneke singer-songwriter, bass player, guitarist and session musician, Gram Antler (Ebony Lamb, Marlon Willams, French For Rabbits, Eb & Sparrow), aspire to be pop, but seem to congeal into a form that can only be described as Slacker Yacht-Rock. Hooky and melodic, and full of lush textures, the soon-to-be-released record GRAM ANTLER was written and recorded with award-winning Melbourne-based producer Brett Stanton (The Phoenix Foundation, Beastwars, Holly Smith). Born on the high desert, in Santa Fe, New Mexico and raised in the mountains of Southern New Zealand, Multi Award-Winning Songwriter Holly Arrowsmith is both poet and storyteller.
