About this concert

Every Thursday that we're all in town we sit in the corner of Obelisk Beer with fellow musicians The Hackles and play whatever we feel like for two hours. You may hear traditional Old Time tunes, country weepers, experimental folksy soundscapes, original songs, pop hits from the 1980's, pop hits from the 1880's and whatever else happens to fall out of us.

What a wonderful show! These two musicians were both so incredibly talented, on multiple instruments, and had a warm, engaging, fun stage presence. The venue, Honky-Tonk on Hazel, is perfect in every way. It draws a really interested and interesting crowd, great people to talk to in between sets, good snacks, and drinks, great sound in that room. I will definitely be back to the Honkytonk on Hazel, but I am now a huge fan of The Horsenecks!
