After midnight on Sunday April 28th (technically early morning Monday), please us for a special late-night show at Chickie Wah Wah! Co-hosted by two rising and completely badass NOLA-based singer-songwriters, Sari Jordan and Renée Gros, Song Space is going to be a songwriter showcase created for you to unwind at the finish line of your first weekend at Jazz Fest. The event features Renée & Sari, as well as songwriters Tiago Guy, Amethyst Starr, and John Fohl. This eclectic lineup is backed by an all star band: Rob Kellner (Tank and The Bangas) on keys, Danny Abel (Tank and The Bangas) on guitar, Alfred Jordan Jr. (Big Sam’s Funky Nation) on drums, and Grayson Brockhamp (Nicholas Payton) on bass. After a long weekend at the fairgrounds, come hang in our listening room and make yourself at home among the sounds of some of New Orleans’ most exciting songwriters.
