About this concert
Join us Memorial Day weekend 2023 for the 6th Annual Western Swing Out Weekender in scenic Tehachapi, California.
This rustic desert gem of a small town is a hidden treasure and a perfect 1950's time capsule of antique shops, roadhouse motels, charming outdoor spaces, 50's diners, and museums. There's even a train! Only one and a half hours outside of Los Angeles, and one hour outside of Bakersfield.
Enjoy your favorite Western Swing Bands in a picturesque small town environment. A perfect holiday weekend getaway for Western Swing, Hillbilly, Rockabilly, & Country Music fans alike!
Four days and three nights of live music, swing dancing, vintage vendors, and all the classic appeal of the vintage 1930s-1950s era.
The Western Swing Out Weekender 2023 returns with many event favorites including whiskey tasting, tequila tasting, best boots contest, vintage western fashion show, memorial picnic, and much more.
All Concert Venues are in walking distance. We plan to invade the town with a foot stompin' and rebel rollickin' weekend of Western shirts, cowboy hats, and Patio dresses as far as the eye can see, all while enjoying an amazing line up of your favorite bands!

Rosy Nolan Biography
With her cowgirl hat, platinum bob and 1940s Western getups, L.A.-based artist Rosy Nolan evokes midcentury California honky-tonk legends such as Rose Maddox and Jean Shepard. But the San Francisco native honed her performance chops in riot-grrl and post-punk indie bands across the US and the UK before finding her new sound in L.A.’s tight-knit old-time community. Now a confident bandleader and songwriter in the center of L.A.’s latest Country music resurgence, Nolan’s vulnerable songs and onstage charm are endearing her to audiences across Southern California and around the US as she promotes her feisty single “One of Your Songs” in advance of her forthcoming album, due this summer from Blackbird Record Label.
