About this concert
"With an eruption of frenzied notes, finger-tapping, and dive-bombing feedback, guitar warrior Tyler Morris pays brilliant homage to a mentor. Cathedral: The Tribute to Van Halen will launch you out of your seat playing air guitar before you realize it!" From Carter Alan (Boston's 100.7 WZLX) Cathedral's level of talent and accuracy -- built with its recording artists and Grammy nominated members (Tyler Morris, Bob Anderson, Kirk Bartholomew, and Scott Purslow) -- has earned the group many successful shows at theaters across the country. Cathedral -- featuring a 3x Grammy nominated guitarist, a former Bon Jovi produced artist, a Sunset Strip veteran, and a nationally acclaimed drummer -- is THE ONLY all-eras (1978-1995) Van Halen tribute, in a class of its own. Cathedral requires no costumes and is laser focused on accuracy to the original Van Halen and cover the entire Van Halen catalog from David Lee Roth to Sammy Hagar and beyond! Tyler Morris has released and supported four internationally acclaimed albums to date. Morris developed an affinity for many genres of music at a young age and guitar became his primary passion. Along the way, he became a strong, prolific songwriter and an incendiary performer. Morris has enjoyed live performance ever since he first came onstage as an 11-year-old at the invitation of Gary King, musical director at B.B. King’s Blues Club. Morris became a regular guest player at the club and began his performing career thereafter, having a great grasp of Blues music history and style at a young age. Morris has performed with music industry notables including Sammy Hagar, Steve Vai, Walter Trout, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ronnie Earl, Yngwie Malmsteen, Leslie West, Robben Ford, Ronnie Montrose and many others. Lead Vocalist, Bob Anderson, is also known for his extensive career in the music industry which began as lead vocalist in the original band "The Citizens", who recordeded & performed extensively.  This exposure quickly led to a production contract with Tony Bongiovi   (producer for John BonJovi, the Talking Heads, The Ramones & other major artists),  where Bob personally worked with Bongiovi's Company.   A major career highlight included his own songs being featured in the film “She’s Back”, starring Carey Fisher and Robert Joy – including the title track for this movie.   This accomplishment brought his name to the forefront in the music industry during the late ‘80s, with increased requests to work with many major recording artists (such as……Billy Squier , Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat and many others. After a break to lovingly raise a family, Bob reappeared in the New England music scene with his first project Nasty Habits, which gained instant popularity. From there, Bob is now front man of his latest adventure, Gunpowder&Lead, nominated Best Classic Rock Band in NE.  As a talk show host featuring the national & local music scene on WATD 95.9FM, founder and managing partner of Upper Entertainment, Bob still devotes his time and talent to fronting Cathedral, featuring Tyler Morris, as they tour the New England States with new shows being added for 2023.
