About this concert
Hosted by Tamell “Big” Bailey and CathyB, the featured performer for March will be Catherine (The Great) Zickgraf. The theme is Women Poets & Poet Laureates.
This is a great opportunity for adults and young adults to practice performance skills in front of a receptive audience, receive feedback, and get inspiration for creating new performance pieces. Open mic performers are asked to keep their total performance time under 5 minutes.
Location: First Floor Meeting Room.
Sign up for the open mic at the library begins at 5:30 pm on the day of the event.

BiG Bailey Biography
Big Bailey, aka Tamell Bailey of SMS Entertainment, is an emerging spoken word poet and hip-hop artist. He is a multi-talented entertainer capable of audio engineering, audio production, graphic designs, video editing, and artist development as the President of SMS Entertainment by night. By day he is professionally a computer technician with a Master's in Information Technology and a TurboTax product expert. He was born in Queens, New York, and raised in Langley, South Carolina, while currently calling Aiken, South Carolina, his home. He delivers a blend of poetry with hip-hop/rap that he calls spoken rap. He has been known to emphasize social consciousness and positivity through his writing and performances.
