Max Scheer - Singer & Songwriter Biography

Born at the end of the 80s, grown up in the 90s and influenced by the music of the 2000s, Max Scheer is an artist who combines these eras of diverse styles. Influenced by music of the Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Alanis Morissette, Matchbox 20 but also icons like Bruce Springsteen or John Mellencamp he mixes everything with a pinch of country, rock and folk and thus creates a sound that is rarely heard today. Handmade and authentic, the singer and songwriter presents himself from all sides.

- gentle and energetic - loud and quiet -

Now Bonn based Max Scheer, born in Berlin in 1987, grew up as a big city kid and was already a music enthusiast in his early childhood. At the age of 10 he gets his first guitar. He taught himself the first guitarchords and covered songs by Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan.

"I always wanted to play an instrument that harmonizes with my singing.
I stuck with the guitar and play it every day."

Max Scheer is a multi-instrumentalist and plays all the instruments himself on his current LP. Only for the drums he gets Tobias Schneider on board, who is also the producer of the songs. "HOME" will be released on April 14, 2023.

With his authentic performance, a dynamic way of playing the guitar and a loud, emotionally loaded voice, he tells stories of life - of longing, losses, fears and achievements.

"I don't want to reinvent the wheel, just give it a new and faster swing."

Max Scheer has the claim to live his music like his life -
without frills and straightforward.
