Saturday, May 11 First Strike Festival returns to Slater Mill in downtown Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Nearly 200 years ago, one hundred women weavers walked out of the textile mills in the village of Pawtucket beginning the first industrial labor strike in America. The National Park Service will offer an exciting lineup of free musical performances including Kala Farnham, Kim Moberg, and J. Michael Graham, plus dance performances, historic tours, and a variety of interactive activities, including ole time games for the whole family, all in commemoration of this historic moment in American history!

J. Michael Graham Biography
Singer-songwriter, J. Michael Graham has been performing solo since 2015. His debut release, So Happy and Lonely immediately garnered the attention of the local Rhode Island press. Since that time, Graham has played numerous shows throughout the New England region as well as short jaunts through the Midwest and Tennessee. A 2022 Motif Music Award Nominee in the Best Americana Vocalist category, Graham has shared the stage with a wide range of artists including The Samples, Dresden Dolls, James Montgomery, Vance Gilbert, The Sea The Sea, Catie Curtis, Mark Cutler and Ian O'Neil from Deer Tick.
