Arco Biography
ARCO is the new project of the Spanish musician Antonio Arco, the former leading man in El Puchero del Hortelano. The band which toured around Latin America, Canada and Europe for over a decade split in 2015.
ARCO falls within the new generation of urban musicians half way between the pop and folk. Their first album “Uno” (Warner Music 2016) reached No8 in the sales charts shortly after release in Spain and it has been recognised as one of the best 2016 albums by music magazines such as Mondo Sonoro and Rocksesión.
ARCO highlight is on its lyrics and explores folk influences that result in a fusion of melodies and textures full of energy. It combines pop-rock band and acoustic duo formats including Spanish guitar, piano and stompbox.
In 2018 he released his second album "Abril" (Warner Music 2018) and after two extensive tours that have had stops in Spain, Peru, Chile, Argentina and USA, and in 2020 he presented his third album "100 veces" with the featuring of Rayden or Diana Navarro.
In February 2021 he presented his first book "40 years, 40 songs", making his debut as a writer, a journey to the most important moments of his life, where he shares events, reflections and moments that inspired many of his most popular songs.
