Tara is an award-winning singer-songwriter based in Friday Harbor, WA. Tara's music is immersive, vocally-driven, indie-folk-pop with sounds similar to Shawn Colvin and Natalie Merchant. The vibe is relaxed, fun and engaging. A typical set includes originals, refreshing covers and Tara's unique, crowd-pleasing "Improv Song" in which the audience contributes words and Tara writes and performs a song on the spot.
