We first came across Few Miles South in Apalachicola, FL and convinced them to come to Cairo. They are an amazing duo and so talented! They are very personable and friendly and have great interaction with the crowd. Definitely one on of my favorites!

Few Miles South Biography
Few Miles South is a female fronted, national touring country and roots group created by Grammy nominated producer/engineer, Blake English, and classically trained singer, Tori Lund. Dubbed "the country Pretenders" (WSM, Grand Ole Opry Radio), Tori's ethereal vocals are the yin to Blake's “grandiose guitar picking, that even the likes of Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle would be proud of” (The Boot). Thoughtful songs set to nostalgic twang and knee slappin' grooves attract listeners across generations. Their first single "On Down the Road" was awarded HOTDISC Country's Best International Music Video in 2017 and they've since had 3 singles in the Top 10 on UK's HOTDISC Country Radio Chart. Their songs have been featured on PBS and GPB, Fox Sports and Ditty TV, they've performed at festivals including Stagecoach (CA), Red Ants Pants (MT), MusikFest (PA), Jasper Folk Festival (AB), and opened for Shenandoah, Reckless Kelly, Daniel Donato, Eddie 9V, The Kentucky Headhunters, Junior Brown, John R. Miller and more. They have 3 studio releases, a recent 2022 single/music video, "Doggone", featuring collaboration with Grammy/IBMA winning fiddler, Michael Cleveland and plan to unveil a new album in 2023. FMS does all their writing, producing and recording from English's own Southern Fried Studio down in the Georgia pines.
