Sally Seltmann is the award-winning Australian singer / songwriter / author and composer behind intoxicating albums such as ‘Hey Daydreamer’ and ‘Heart That’s Pounding’. She is the co-writer of the worldwide hit song ‘1234’, performed by Feist. Sally Seltmann previously performed under the name New Buffalo, and is a member of Seeker Lover Keeper with Sarah Blasko and Holly Throsby. Her first novel Lovesome was published by Allen & Unwin in May 2018.
Sally's new single 'Please Louise' was released on March 28 2022, and will feature on her upcoming album 'Early Moon' - available August 2nd, 2022.
In August 2019 Seeker Lover Keeper released their second album ‘Wild Seeds’. The video clip for their first single ‘Let it Out’ stars Magda Szubanski, and the two follow up singles star Yael Stone and Madeleine Madden.
In 2016, Sally and her husband Darren Seltmann won Best Original Song For The Screen for Sally’s single ‘Dancing In The Darkness’. The song featured in the ABC and Netflix TV show The Letdown, for which Sally and Darren composed the entire score.
Sally Seltmann has performed with her band at Splendour In The Grass, Woodford Folk Festival and Laneway Festival, as well as playing shows across the USA and UK. Sally’s songs have featured in a number of US and Australian TV shows and films, including Candy Jar, Offspring, One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy, and ‘Gardens of the Night’.
Numerous artists have covered Sally’s songs, including Bon Iver.
Sally's fifth studio album 'Early Moon' will be released on August 2nd, 2022.
