About this concert
The Imaginaries, Kiely Connell, Sahara Moon, & Taylor Grace @ The Vinyl Lounge Doors 6 pm Show 6:30 pm Tickets Now On Sale--> https://tixr.com/e/97840 Taylor Grace (6:30 PM) is a singer-songwriter from the iconic Muscle Shoals, AL with a passion for inspiring others. She started writing songs at the young age of 6, being heavily influenced by artists such as Sugarland and Taylor Swift, and decided then that she would do it for the rest of her life. Growing up in the Shoals, and being just a short drive from Nashville, she’s been lucky to have so much right at her fingertips. Working with professional songwriters such as James LeBlanc (Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde), Angela Hacker (Season 5 Winner of Nashville Star), Mark Narmore (That’s What I Love About Sunday) and many more, and recording at studios such as FAME Recording Studio and The Nutthouse, she’s been able to grow her craft more than she even thought possible. Sahara Moon (7:15 PM) is a singer-songwriter and artist who comes from the coastal region of New Jersey and is currently based in Nashville. Her soulful vocals blend “the classic seventies vibe” with a modern feel. With an eclectic sound, Moon’s style of music is an Uptown Americana with an influence of jazz, folk, and blues; similar to Norah Jones. She has shared the stage with Gabe Dixon, Blackberry Smoke, The Marshall Tucker Band, Robert Cray, Stephen Kellogg, Billy Currington amongst others and has performed for notable festivals such as Let’s Go! Music Festival, Mayday Music Festival, and Americanafest. The Imaginaries (8:15 PM) is an Americana band formed in the open plains of Oklahoma. Consisting of husband & wife duo Shane Henry (guitar, vocals) & Maggie McClure (piano, vocals), their debut album was released March 26, 2021. It was recorded in famed Muscle Shoals, AL with legendary “Swampers” & serves as both an introduction to The Imaginaries and the beginning of their journey as a band after both singer songwriters have enjoyed their own successes as solo artists. The songs are filled with effortless harmonies, heartfelt lyrics & real-life lessons. Maggie, with her subtly sweet vocals and piano-driven style fuses seamlessly with Shane’s blues-rock grit to form their own unique blend of Americana/Singer-Songwriter music. The Imaginaries were selected to open for the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks! Tour in 2019. Since then, the duo has opened for Judy Collins and John Waite to name a few. Maggie and Shane wrote/produced the soundtrack for feature film, A Cowgirl's Song written/directed by Timothy Armstrong. The film stars Cheryl Ladd, Savannah Lee May and Darci Lynne. Maggie and Shane also co-star in the country music driven family feature film, distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films and now on NETFLIX. Kiely Connell (9:15 PM) is a Nashville, Tennessee transplant with rustbelt roots. Hailing from Hammond, Indiana just four houses down from the Illinois state line, Kiely draws inspiration from the hardworking people of her native Midwest community. As one of her peers put it: “Kiely’s songs walk a tightrope, planting each step equally with both the grace at the heart of folk music, and the steadfast confidence of an experienced rock and roll soul". Kiely's powerful four-octave range will take you on a journey that transcends the ordinary. In a time when most country and Americana artists are forging a similar path, Kiely takes fans on a different journey to unknown places—sonically, and emotionally. She writes songs that have a gothic country aesthetic - a blend of somber poetry and western melodies delivered with her rich and brooding voice. Her voice merges gritty blues with an ethereal upper register, leaving audiences comparing her to the likes of Patsy Cline, Joan Baez, and Joni Mitchell. Kiely's incomparable voice, and her poetic storytelling truly make her an Americana artist to watch.
