Tuesday Morality Biography

Since its foundation in 2020, "Tuesday Morality" has developed into an emerging band from Thuringia (Germany), which is probably best classified as post-hardcore. Originally started as a solo project by Paul (vocals) during the first corona lockdown, the name of the project was created by an online generator, with Paul choosing the second suggestion of the AI: With a series
of randomly selected input values, including the day of the week "Tuesday", the machine spit out
"Tuesday Morality" - a name that came out of nowhere and yet somehow remained throughout
Paul's solo releases (including "Washing Broken Dishes", "Get a Cold" or "Recurring
Nightmares"). Later in 2020, Justin (drums), Jonathan (guitar), Kevin (bass) and Daniel (guitar) joined the
project. Their shared past with Paul, which was characterized by shared experiences in other bands, school, friends or the local soccer club, welded the five boys together and formed the foundation for their artistic collaboration. Since their first gig together in Tambach-Dietharz in
September 2021, TM has been working continuously on new music, playing more than two dozen further concerts (mainly in Erfurt) and making their first releases, including the singles
"The Underclass" (October 2021), "KEEP IT A SECRET" (October 2022) and their debut EP "Parasites" (2023).
With a style characterized by high dynamics of clean/distorted guitar arrangements and sometimes screaming vocals, TM's songs have evolved into a reflection of dark and energetic emotions: The lyrics not infrequently describe the battle against one's own mind and the band's concerts prove to be powerful and varied.
