Thom And The Wolves

Thom and the Wolves is the musical project of songwriter Thomas Bewernick and producer Hugo Tromp. The two met in Berlin in November 2021 through a musician's Facebook group, both searching for new collaborative opportunities. It was clear from their first meeting that something special was being born. As Hugo was deeply touched by Thom’s songs, he managed, with his great sensitivity and artistry, to create a musical landscape that both completed Thom’s vision and took his songs to a new and surprising direction.

The duo's creative process was an intuitive exchange; Thom would send Hugo a take with vocal and guitar without any context or directions, then Hugo would add the instruments and sounds he envisioned. The result was a complete collaborative experience, in which each of the artists could contribute their part freely.

The result is 'Across the Burning Skies'. An album that explores the theme of letting go of the past and embracing the present. A theme that was very present in Thom's personal life while writing the songs. The title track is an anthem that invites the listener to set fire to their old memories and fears, and start a new journey.

'Across the Burning Skies' consists of 12 tracks that take the listener through a variety of different musical genres. It is a debut album that marks the beginning of an exciting musical adventure for Thom and the Wolves. It is a testament to their creativity, friendship, and vision.
