About this concert
Meaford was officially established as a town in 1874 and the community is coming together to celebrate 150 years! Known for many things, Meaford is also recognized for its rich culture and local talent. The Meaford 150 Showcase in Concert is a great example of that! Opening this showcase is Acapella Sound, a local chorus group composed of women who love to sing in four-part harmony. Their melodic blends are sure to set the tone for a great show. Next on stage will be The Marlins, a well-known local family, consisting of Lucy and Steve and their five children (Maria, Wilder, Mateo, Solomon, & River). Lucy and Steve have been playing music together for over 25 years and music continues to be at the heart of their family. Each family member plays an instrument and sings and are always a crowd pleaser. Paige Warner is no stranger to local stages but is on the cusp of really big things and we’re thrilled to have her join the show. The second act will feature Michael Gagliardi, an accomplished guitarist, specializing in Latin Jazz and Flamenco. Although he has a beloved local fanbase of former school chums, since leaving Meaford and moving to California at age 19, he has traveled the world and shared stages with artists such as BB KING, AARON NEVILLE, BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY, BUDDY GUY, ASIA, JOSE FELICIANO, AL DIMEOLA, FISHBONE, KEITH URBAN and many others. We are grateful that Michael could fit us into his very busy schedule of 170-200 performances per year. magagliardi.com Don’t miss this spectacular local showcase, in celebration of Meaford’s 150! Proudly presented by Meaford Hall

Paige Warner Biography

With an evocative voice that captivates her audience, Paige Warner creates alt-pop music that sits between R&B, singer-songwriter, and blues-rock, with soul-inspired vocal licks layered on catchy hooks and rhythms. Her career launched in 2018 and has consistently grown through each release, including recent singles “Liquor”, “Lose Lose”, and “Stockholm Syndrome”. With over 80,000 listens on Spotify and 70,000 views on her debut music video, Paige’s music has drawn love from media and listeners alike. Paige Warner’s voice is often what draws people in. However, she is skilled with more than just her voice, regularly accompanying herself with piano, guitar, or inviting her backing band to the stage. Having performed on stages such as NXNE, Owen Sound’s Summerfolk, TD Harbour Nights, and opening for iconic artists including Ron Sexsmith and Monowhales, Warner’s dedicated fan base and community continues to grow. With new music on the way, Paige plans to keep releasing songs, creating intimate concert experiences, and spreading love and connection through her music.

“I’ve never heard a voice as evocative as Warner’s.” – Waterloo Chronicle

“My god, she’s done it again!… has yet again created a beautifully simplistic song that stands out from the popular music of today.” - WR Rural Post

“Paige Warner’s music gets better and better … I like Warner because she’s genuine with her music and her experience.” - Dropout Entertainment

“The songwriting here is immensely heartfelt, and fits like a glove, conjoined with the instrumentation. This piece gave me the inspiration to view myself a bit deeper today.” - Swanodown

“Listening to Warner’s new album this past week, I’m already hooked on her catchy melodies and the inherent vulnerability of her lyrics and voice, conveying raw feelings and emotions on songs like Worth It, Please Don’t Look at Me, and the sensual contemporary R&B track, Undress.” - Waterloo Chronicle

“She’s obviously a born entertainer. She has crazy stage presence. She held the whole room in the palm of her hand. She just had to sing those first few notes and she captivated everyone. She’s just super talented.” The Observer
