We are hosting a one-of-a-kind musical event set to take place in Southern Illinois!

As you may be aware, the Eclipse is expected to occur on Monday, April 8th 2024.
The best way to view the Eclipse is in a sparsely populated area with a clear view of the sky. However, the lack of population also means a lack of infrastructure. Hotels, gas stations, and even roads will likely not be available to anyone who waits until the last minute!
That's why we are opening up our farm to host an event at the viewing site & encouraging guests to reserve a spot or come early and camp. As if the prime location was not enough, we'll also have a full weekend of live musical performances leading up to the main event!
When the last eclipse occurred in 2017, people travelled from hundreds of miles away to witness the spectacle. The city of Carbondale, for example, estimates that 45-50,000 people travelled to town to witness the event – nearly double their population! The path of totality of the next eclipse will travel over a similar area, and persist for over 4 minutes!

Sunshine Daydream Biography
Sunshine Daydream specializes in performing Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band music in a refreshing high energy, up-tempo style. They have played through at least 150 songs in the Grateful Dead repertoire over the years. You never know what you are going to hear and the sets are designed to please the Dead heads and casual listener. The songs are performed as they are intended: high energy, hard hitting and always danceable. Expect psychedelic and innovative jams as the band navigates the Grateful Dead repertoire. The band is based in Springfield, IL.
