Dystopica Biography
Hailing from Connecticut, Dystopica is a metal band with a distinct sound blending heavy metal, hard rock, thrash metal and progressive metal. Their music includes melodic, harmonizing guitar riffs and powerful female vocals. The band's lineup is Becky Brideau on vocals, Rob Muller on guitar and Erich Bender on drums. Joining Dystopica for live shows is Lucas Dellaporta on bass and Connor Sperry on guitar.
The band was formed by singer and songwriter Becky Brideau. On September 2nd, 2022 Dystopica released their second EP Deception via Pavement Entertainment. Their song “For You” charted on NACC's Loud Rock/Metal Chart and spent 8 weeks holding a spot on Metal Contraband's Top 50 Metal Chart. Since the release of Deception they have been performing live as a band and have shared the stage with national acts such as Metal Church and Gemini Syndrome.
Dystopica released their new song “Far From Perfect” on July 28, 2023. “Far From Perfect” is the first single off of their first full length album Infinite Reflection which will be released in 2024 via Pavement Entertainment.
