“My Bluegrass Heart” was even better the second time around. If you get a chance, GO. You will LOVE what these people can do. My wife hates music, and even she loved it. Just GO!!!

This was truly an exceptional concert! I have rarely seen the caliper of such musicians on one stage! The artistry and musicality of the group is beyond words. Bela Fleck not only is light years beyond any other contemporary composer, he consistently collects the best of the best of the best to showcase their exquisite talents! I was so lucky and grateful to have been able to attend this performance!

It was a delightful evening. Rhapsody in Blue was over the top. We would see Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn again and again. Thank you for bringing such talent to the community.

Wouah!

My wife and I enjoyed the performance. However, Bela Fleck was a complement to the band, more often in a support role. I was hoping to see him playing the banjo in a lead role.

This was a delightful show. I own the album so I knew what to expect. However the live performance far surpassed the recorded music. Besides the tactile quality of the instruments’ sound, the artists’ engagement with each other and the audience was lots of fun. The audience was attentive (no talking during the performance) and responsive. I like it when the audience is tastefully appreciative for solo and collaborative bits and pieces during a song. I had a great seat so I can’t speak to the quality of sound throughout the house but the Boulder Theater has always been acoustically satisfying for me. Not all venues are likewise blessed. I have to add, Edgar Meyer was brilliant. This is no surprise, I have seen him often at Telluride and with Goat Rodeo among other performances, but that night particularly featured his skill and versatility. His mastery is all the more cemented in my mind for all time.

Bela and his fellow musicians were amazing. Talented men - and funny! We're so happy to have seen Mr. Fleck twice in one year - first a bluegrass concert in Ann Arbor MI last December and then this one, which had an Indian flair. Highly recommended.

This one was sold out so I attended at the Narrows Center in Fall River. The concert could not have been better. I even got my picture taken with Sierra Hill. Would like to see this concert again.

Two terrific performances by a perfect pairing of bands! Great energy on stage. I love Cullen Performance Hall for it's acoustics, ambience, and history. My wife and I registered for classes there 50 years ago. Its only drawback is inadequate restroom facilities because it was not built as a concert hall, but we all can overcome that. One suggestion would be to provide parking advice with the tickets. I saw a fair amount of confusion among concertgoers regarding that.
Please come back to Houston soon with the Punch Brothers or another worthy band of your choosing and we will be there. Thank you!

Outdoor concert, had to be moved inside due to heavy rain prior to starting. The alternate venue was only able to accommodate a small portion of the audience, so Bela and the band played two one hour sets with a packed house for both.
Performed completely unplugged, the show was quite possibly the most amazing example of pure musicianship I have ever personally witnessed. Bela Fleck and his band are true masters in the finest tradition.
I would urge anyone who appreciates great musical talent to grab a seat to one of their concerts ASAP!

Rain caused them to move from the amphitheater to a small museum where they did 2 shows since the capacity was only 250 people. I would have preferred the original grassy outdoor venue where you could dance and move around, but this was intimate. The musicianship was incredible

I learned how to play ( I use that term very loosely) Banjo when I was a boy with my Grandfather's 1914 Tenor Banjo and have been love with the instrument my whole life, even though I grew up listening to Rock And Roll and Jazz . When Bela Fleck came along and showed the world that you could play not just Bluegrass, but Rock and Jazz on a Banjo, he became my hero. Fast forward to this year and I saw that he was coming, I had to get tickets. It was at a venue I was not familiar with called The Eastern here in Atlanta and I was very impressed with the venue (1100 ppl capacity with chairs, 2400 without). The sound system was great. Bela Fleck and his amazing band wire stupendous and did not disappoint. I have been to 9 live music shows this year in different venues and different genres around town and I got to say that this was the best show I've seen this year and I'd put it in my top 10 shows of all time (and I've seen A LOT of live music in my life).
Thank you for a wonderful time.

Chautauqua can be so charming. Tonight it was. It was a beautiful late summer evening with the gardens in full bloom and the stars bright overhead. I saw Bela and the Telluride House Band perform My Bluegrass Heart several months ago at the Paramount in Denver. This time, though I was in the front row in that fine Chautauqua venue with its superior acoustics. I had a ball. Sierra Hull was the first artist to come out and she was quickly joined by the rest of the band, with Bela Fleck the final one to walk on stage. Their sound was clear and precise. They performed several numbers from the MGH album with a few traditional bluegrass songs sprinkled in. I had never seen the guitar and fiddle player and they both played their parts expertly and with passion. The audience was attentive and appropriately enthusiastic. Like I said, I had a ball.

Bela is an exceptional talent - We travel to see him when he is near Pittsburgh & have seen him over the years in Vegas & Tampa. His Strength in Numbers "Telluride Session" album I would say is the best bluegrass album ever and once you hear it you want to listen to it over & over (which we have hundreds of times). Every concert we have seen we always hope to hear some of music from that album. Even though we are ALWAYS is impressed with his talent we want to leave the event wanting to hear some of the songs over & over - unfortunately the setlist list for this concert (although great music well performed) did not leave us with the haunting tune in our heads that you just cant wait to hear again. We have also seen him perform long solos that match the performances of the greatest guitar & banjo players ever. SO we were a bit disappointed with the setlist & lack of longer (always impressive) solo. Would we see him again ?? Absolutely. We love you Bela & Abigail (thought we saw her walking around the set) - Let her play a tune or two.

Bela and an All Star band were on fire. Everyone had an opportunity to shine (Some on multiple instruments). The addition of the Jerry Douglas band and the Sam Bush band made the evening even better.

Three bands featuring some of the top musicians at their craft; an amazing show from start to finish. My first time seeing Michael Cleveland, whose fiddle playing by itself was worth the price of admission. Definitely a night to remember!

This show was an absolute treat from start to finish. Bela Fleck never disappoints and he surrounded himself with some of best bluegrass artists for this tour! The Garde Arts Center is a great, intimate and decorative theatre perfect for an event like this. If this tour comes your way, don't miss out on it

This bluegrass project is just incredible. Great musicians playing flawlessly and seeming like they are having the time of their lives. Love these small venues, and I lucked out with a front row center seat.

One of the best shows I have ever been to. It was like bluegrass opera. The story in every song palpable without words. I was moved to tears. Amazing.
